You make data-driven decisions with your money. Make them with your health, too.

By 50, you've quietly lost a tenth of your peak muscle.
It doesn't happen all at once. It happens while you're building a career and raising a family — a little strength, a little energy, a little independence at a time. The good news: it's reversible. Strength training in your 40s, 50s, and 60s is the highest-ROI investment you can make.

Ruben — Founder & Coach
For 10 years, Ruben has coached strength and muscle-building with an approach designed to last. His Corrective Exercise Specialist expertise means training that respects bad knees, stiff backs, and cranky shoulders — so high achievers 40–70 can build strength with confidence. Staying lean year-round for a decade is proof of a livable system, not a crash transformation.
Everything you see was built drug-free over a decade — proof the method works without shortcuts.
Registered Dietitian
Janeza — Nutrition & Fitness
A Registered Dietitian passionate about both nutrition and fitness, Janeza makes the science practical and personal. She builds individualized nutrition around each client's training, preferences, schedule, and goals — then stays connected as the plan meets real life.
She and Ruben are partners in life and in coaching. That connection is the point: clients don't get two separate opinions; they get both coaches working together.
Training + individualized nutrition + accountability. Your husband-and-wife coaching team, fully connected.
Who we coach
Built for High Achievers.
Every client is different. The standard is the same: a coordinated training and nutrition plan, built around your life, that treats your health with the seriousness it deserves.
The Driven Professional
For the business owner, investor, or executive who's built the career and the wealth — but let health slide. Training, nutrition, and accountability engineered around a packed calendar, systematized like a well-run company. Retired early to golf and invest? Even better.
The Woman Who Puts Everyone First
For the woman who's spent years making sure everyone else is taken care of — often the wife of a busy man. This is her season: strength training and real-food nutrition that fit her life, for more energy, confidence, and a body that keeps up with everything she does.
The Retiree
For men and women who've earned their time and want these to be their strongest years. Golf without the achy back, travel without the fatigue, grandkids without sitting out. Strength, mobility, and vitality for everything retirement promised.

What's Your Strength Age?
Five strength tests — four scored against age norms, plus a required core-endurance hold. Fifteen minutes at home. A practical baseline for adults 25–85.
Step 1 of 6 · Your profile
First, tell us about you.
Your age and sex let us compare your results with the correct published reference data.
We'll pre-fill your application with this.
Test 1 of 5 · Push-ups
Count your clean reps.
Choose the version you'll use, then keep that same setup for your 12-week retest.
- Chest to fist height for standard or knee push-ups
- For incline push-ups, use a stable surface and record its height for your retest
- No rest between repetitions; stop when form breaks
Modified reps are recorded honestly as modified and compared with the existing standard push-up reference — no separate modified norm table is used.
Test 2 of 5 · Single-leg balance
How steady are you?
- Eyes open, hands on hips, barefoot
- Use your best attempt on either leg
- Stop at 120 seconds
Test 3 of 5 · 30-second chair stand
Test lower-body strength.
- Use a sturdy chair
- Cross your arms over your chest
- Count full stands in 30 seconds
Test 4 of 5 · Core endurance
Hold a clean plank.
Choose your hold, start the timer, and stop it the moment your form breaks — not when it starts to burn.
- Elbows directly under your shoulders, forearms flat
- One straight line from head to heels
- Glutes and core braced, breathe normally
- Stop the moment your hips sag or rise — that's your score
Wrists stay neutral. If you feel wrist or shoulder pain, switch to the side plank or skip for injury below. Stop immediately for pain, numbness, or dizziness.
- Straight line from head to heels, hips stacked high
- Test both sides and keep the weaker side's time
- Stop the moment your hips drop — that's your score
The side plank is the wrist/shoulder-friendly alternative. It gets simple coaching feedback only — no published norms exist for it, so it's unscored.
Timer capped at 10:00 — anything beyond is elite, and the cap keeps the quiz session practical.
Guinness World Records lists Josef Šálek's abdominal plank at 9 hours, 38 minutes, 47 seconds (May 2023). Extraordinary — and explicitly not a target. For your retest, cleaner form matters more than chasing time.
World record: Guinness World Records · adult reliability study · general-norm caveatTest 5 of 5 · Grip strength
Finish with your grip.
- Best of 3 squeezes
- Dominant hand, arm at side
- Record your best result in kilograms
Use a secure overhead bar reached from a step, take a shoulder-width overhand grip, and record the time until your clean hold ends. Step down rather than dropping. Stop for pain or numbness. This is a useful grip-endurance baseline, but it is tracked separately from the dynamometer-based age score.
No device or bar? Skip grip scoring and see your result from the other completed age-scored tests.
Your Strength Age
Your Strength Age is calculated from the four tests with published age-stratified norms. The plank is graded against young-adult reference data — the only published plank norms — so it doesn't feed the number, but it does feed your weakest-area coaching below.
Your result
Your body has a story.
Educational estimate based on published normative data (Dodds et al., PLoS ONE 2014; ACSM fitness norms; Rikli & Jones Senior Fitness Test; Araujo et al., BJSM 2022; Strand et al., 2014 for the forearm plank). Not a medical assessment. Ages 25–29 use the youngest available comparison bands; chair-stand ages under 60 use an estimated interpolated curve. Modified push-ups are identified on the result and compared with the existing standard push-up reference; no separate modified norm table is used. The dead hang is a personal baseline and does not change Strength Age. The forearm plank is graded against young-adult reference data (Strand et al., 2014) — the only published plank norms, and the study authors warn against generalizing them to other ages. It feeds your weakest-area coaching, not the Strength Age number. Relative-weakness rule: the plank is only flagged as your weakest area when its young-adult percentile is at or below the 30th percentile while you perform at or above your own age norms on average — or at or below the 15th percentile while you perform near age level — so older users aren't systematically flagged by the young-adult comparison. Norms compare your score with peers, not with your own younger self.
